Claire Shār

Welcome to my online studio,
My work explores rhythm as the architectural foundation of human subjectivity. Through large-scale paintings oscillating between abstraction and figuration, I investigate what I call Figurvival the survivance of embodied presence within contemporary art and visual regimes.
Grounded in what I have termed Neuropoietics, my practice considers art not merely as language, but as an interdisciplinary frequency: an architecture of cognitive and metacognitive rhythm. Each work is conceived as a field of attention. Not to decorate a space, but to immerse a soul and activate a special cerebral state.
I am currently seeking curatorial, musical and technical collaborators, institutions and partners interested in helping me develop and realize Shelter, a large scale participatory immersive exhibition exploring perception, consciousness, art therapy and human interiority through painting, sound and sensory experience.
If you are interested in participating in or supporting the project, more information can be found here.
